I'm a freelance writer, editor, novelist, and poet.  My free verse collection Sorrow, Sin & Beauty graced the Amazon charts in 2013. With my brand new novel 'Twigs then Jesters' due for release in early December, along with a further two novels in the pipeline for 2015.

 

After a diverse and exciting career in the Royal Navy was cut short by injury, I took a seemingly drastic change of direction, returning home to my native Shetland Isles to focus on writing full time. I now live a fairly quiet and laid back life with son Michael, making the most of incredible landscapes, scenery and crisp sea air.
